My Work existing either as live events or as recorded videos, are Performances, which revolve around a relationship to a video camera.

I make mechanical contraptions, or use found objects on which I attach a video camera, and then carry, push, throw, spin or fly these around fields, alowing the camera to capture me using or fighting with these objects.

The camera is used as a tool, to trigger a performance and to record it. This feedback is used to explore my relation to a moving-images-screen. Whether I'm trying to remain in shot, escape from it or investigate the edge of the frame.

Exploring cinematic theories of how our immersion in the moving-image can be broken when we acknowledge the camera's presence, I am trying to find and push the limits of my relation to the unreal but highly believable world inside a moving-image-screen.
